The 24-Day Challenge™ is a comprehensive supplementation and nutrition program. It’s designed to give your body the jumpstart it needs to help you reach your goals. And it’s not just for weight loss. Nope, it’s for weight management, energy, overall body composition or overall wellness. Some have used it to INCREASE muscle mass. At the end of the 24-Day Challenge, you are going to feel and look good. And since it promotes clean eating, when you are done with the Challenge, you will be down the right road to keep doing what you’ve been doing.

So what is the Challenge? What exactly do I do?
Well the Challenge is broken down into two phases. The Cleanse Phase (Days 1-10) and the Max Phase (Days 11-24). Both combine clean eating with Advocare products. You can exercise like normal and continue with your normal daily activities.
What is the Cleanse Phase?Gentle and Uneventful! The cleanse phase is designed exercise help to rid your body of toxins and prepare your body to better absorb nutrients. This isn’t the kind of cleanse where you drastically reduce calories or consume only liquids. Nope. You will eat real foods and be able to go about your daily life. You DO NOT need to stay near a bathroom 24-7. During the Cleanse Phase you will use the Herbal Cleanse Kit, Spark and Omegaplex. NO alcohol, coffee or dairy are to be consumed during the 10-Day Cleanse. Average weight loss during the cleanse is 5-10 pounds.

What is the Max Phase?
The Max Phase is about fueling your body in order to achieve maximum results. You’ll use the MNS Kit, Spark and the Meal Replacement Shakes during the Max Phase. You’ll eat clean meals + snacks, plus the guidelines loosen up a little. MNS stands for Metabolic Nutrition System and you can select from the following packs when you buy your kit:
 • MNS E - Geared towards keeping your energy up and revving your metabolism as you continue to lose weight. (Best for those that need the energy or have high activity levels)
 • MNS 3- Geared towards overall wellness, energy, and appetite control.
 • MNS C- Geared towards maximum appetite control.

But if you stick to the program, you will see results in your shape, the scale, your performance and/or your energy! I lost 9 pounds and 14 inches my first challenge.

For $79 (plus taxes) you can sign up and become a wholesale customer or distributor. You’ll get 20% off all of your orders (and can earn commissions through others that order) and $50 in Spark (10 packets) and Slam (12 bottles). If you want to sell it to people and make a commission, cool. You’ll get a website and the whole deal. If you just want the discount for yourself (that’s why I signed up), that’s cool too. There are NO selling / purchasing minimums and NO Auto Ship. You do have to pay a $50/annual fee on the anniversary you signed up though if you wish to continue getting your discount. Product users save more than this in a year on their products. For example, if you and your husband both want to do the Challenge, that’d run $388. If you are distributors, it’d cost $311. There’s your $79 sign-up fee! Plus, you’d get all that free Spark and Slam and a year long discount!

My Pregnancy Power Pack

It's no secret that pregnancy can be hard on your body and extra attention must be paid to staying healthy. Choosing the right "cocktail" for your new routines is crucial not just to the health of the baby but to the health of YOU as well. And as a side effect, anything we can do to make getting that "pre-baby" body back easier is a bonus!

Obviously am not serving up cocktails anytime soon but I like to call my everyday routine my cocktail. I really do believe that AdvoCare has changed my pregnancy. There are always differences in each pregnancy you may have but as a whole, I've had more energy, felt better, and stayed fit and am half way through. Sure now and then I have cravings and I'l indulge within reason but on the daily I make sure to stay healthy and fit with activity and food and add in all the extras my body needs. I've checked all of these products to ensure they are safe for both pregnant and nursing mothers and found them to be MUCH better than the suggested "Pre-Natal Vitamin".

Here is what I'm taking daily!
Meal Replacement Shake
Meal Replacement Shakes. These are my breakfast go to's since I never have time to make something for myself! I grab a packet and my blender bottle and head to work. These are the perfect meal in a glass with 24grams of protein and 24 grams of carbs. They leave you satisfied and tells your body to not be in a fat "storing" mode but it revs your body the right way in the morning. Chocolate is my favorite but it also comes in berry and vanilla.
Catalyst™
Catalyst. This helps support muscle tone and helps protect muscle tissue. It also helps give my muscles the lean and tone look. I take this daily. Anyone can take these if their goal is lean muscle! It's often called "lipo in a bottle" because it tells our bodies to preserve lean muscle mass and get rid of the fat.
Rehydrate
Rehydrate. This has been my go to drink other than water. Early on in my pregnancy I had a electrolyte imbalance and once I started to drink this on a regular basis all was well. My Dr told me to drink sports drinks to help with the problem I showed him this and he said that this was better than sports drinks. These are a must after any workout I have!
AdvoCare Spark® Energy Drink Mix
SPARK. Guys no joke I have a love affair going with Spark! Happy Mommy Juice! This is what has been getting me through my days. My days require a lot of energy and focus and Spark gives me exactly this with no sugar, but vitamins and minerals I need. I only drink one of these a day because it has just the max dose of caffeine intake for pregnancy.
OmegaPlex®
OmegaPlex. Omega 3 fatty acids which also contain DHA which help the baby’s brain development. I take these daily.
ProBiotic RESTORE™ ULTRA

Probiotic Restore Ultra. I do typically 2 fiber drinks a week which help me stay “regular” and the probiotic I take daily and it helps keep my immune system in top condition and it also aids in keeping me “regular” as well which is something I battle during pregnancy.
CorePlex® with Iron
CorePlex with Iron. I use this as my prenatal vitamin daily. This has all my regular vitamins and it also has the folic acid that the baby needs as well.

Turkey vs Beef - Which should you be eating?

A turkey burger can be a healthy alternative to a regular beef burger. They can be hamburgers, lasagna, spaghetti and so much more. In most cases, turkey is a much healthier alternative than beef unless protein or cholesteral are of concern. Notice there is a difference in those two areas. But in general, turkey burger provides a healthier alternative to all your favorites! The exact nutritional content of your turkey burger depends on the type of ground turkey you choose and the additional ingredients that you add to the burger.

Calories

Broiled fat-free ground turkey has 117 calories in a 3-ounce portion. A 3-ounce portion of broiled 93 percent lean ground turkey has 176 calories, and the same size serving of 85 percent lean ground turkey has 212 calories. A 3-ounce turkey burger has 0 to 14 grams of fat, depending on the type of turkey used, and 0 grams of carbohydrates. A 1.5-ounce hamburger bun adds 117 calories, and an ounce of cheese and a tablespoon of mayonnaise or full-fat dressing can add about another 100 calories.

Saturated Fat

A turkey burger made from 3 ounces of broiled 85 percent lean ground turkey has 3.5 grams of saturated fat. Saturated fat can raise the levels of cholesterol in your blood and increase your risk for heart disease. To limit your consumption of saturated fat, choose fat-free ground turkey or 93 percent lean ground turkey, which has 2.5 grams of saturated fat in a 3-ounce portion. Cheese is among the top sources of saturated fat in the typical American diet, and adding an ounce of full-fat Swiss cheese to your turkey burger increases the saturated fat content of your meal by 5 grams.
Iron
A 3-ounce 85 percent lean turkey burger provides 1.7 milligrams of iron, or 10 percent of the daily value for iron. A burger made of fat-free ground turkey has only 0.7 milligram of iron. Iron is an essential component of healthy red blood cells, and deficiency can lead to anemia and symptoms of fatigue and muscle weakness. The iron from animal products is in the heme form of iron, which is easier for your body to absorb than iron in its non-heme form. A hamburger bun contributes an additional 1.4 milligrams of iron.
A turkey burger made from 3 ounces of 85 percent lean ground turkey supplies 2.8 milligrams of zinc, or 19 percent of the daily value for zinc, and a burger made from fat-free ground turkey has 1.9 milligrams of zinc. Zinc is a necessary mineral for regulating cell signaling, and it is a part of proteins and cell membranes in your body. Deficiency can impair immune function and lead to more infections. Having nuts, beans or cheese with your turkey burger increases the zinc content of the meal.
